"N' to drink? We got honeywater, milk, water, juice, n' soda," RJ said.

"I guess they couldn't do anything, but I wouldn't ever be able to go back to work," Scarab says. "And I like it there. I get to see a lot of things that no one's seen in a really long time."

"Oh, I'd like soda please." He's heard about soda from Techno and Middy.

Wolfang decides he'd like milk, while Gate and Alia both want juice. Flea thinks about it a moment longer before deciding on soda.

"Arnold likes that stuff too, so if you're not careful you'll have mouse whiskers in it," Jubee warned cheerfully.

"I'll be right back wit yoh drinks," RJ grinned and left.

Yammark giggles. "I wouldn't mind. Arnold can have some if he wants."

After all, not being human and all means he doesn't have to worry about any possible rodent-spread germs.

"Ok. But if he's sticky he looks weird," Jubee giggled. Then she looked at Scarab.

"So where do you work that's so great?"

"Yes, sticky fur wouldn't be very nice. But maybe we could wash him off very carefully with a wet napkin if that happens?" suggests Yammark.

"I do archaeological field work in areas that are still not safe for humans to go into," Scarab replies.

"Oh totally. I never go into those places without like, a million lights everywhere," she agreed and shuddered.

"Drinks!" Rj announced happily, coming over with and tray of drinks, which he quickly dishes out. Then he put a basket of breadsticks down. "Food almost ready."

Scarab smiles and reaches for the soda. He giggles when he tries it. Techno and Middy were right - the bubbles do sort of tickle...

Jubee grinned and made a fake milkshake to pretend to sip from, watching as everyone drinks.

Arnold stands on his back feet, sniffing the water before sticking his face in and drinking so eagerly his tail sticks out straight behind him.
